Dear Students,
we are pleased to inform you that our 2025/2026 nomination and application process for a mobility at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT) ( E MURCIA04) for next academic year is open. In order to provide to your students all the information about our registration procedure, please fill in the Goggle form below with the required information about your outgoing Erasmus students.

You will also find attached a pdf document containing a list of the ISCED Codes which are available in order to complete the “Field of study” entry.

We kindly ask you to fill in the questionnaire available in the following link, in order to update our database concerning  our partners.

Please remember that you may only nominate students for Faculties with which we have set agreements. If this is not the case, please let us know and we may be able to open further contracts with your Universities. You can find in our website  https://international.upct.es/en/incoming  the list of agreements  that we currently hold with all Universities.

Once nominated, the selected students will receive a confirmation e-mail from our system UMOVE in a few days  with detailed information on how to register online, apply for accommodation and also practical information to prepare their stay at the UPCT. Please find our „Fact Sheet 2025-26” attached to this email.

 We kindly ask you to fill in the excel file in capital letters, and without any special character

 APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Once your nomination processed, you will receive a notification through our platform UMOVE, in order to complete your registration.
Please, fill in our Online Registration Form to complete your registration. To do so you will have to enter your email address and the code you will receive in your email once we put in your details in UMOVE. Once registered in UMOVE, t your students will have to upload the following documents:

  • B1 Language certificate requirement (English or Spanish depending on the language of instruction of the courses chosen)
  • your passport or ID card and
  • your EU health insurance card without hiding anything from it.
  • Your health insurance  (in English)
  • a Civil liability and accident insurance (in English) OR a certificate from the home university  (in English) which indicates that the student is covered abroad for any accident or damage that may occur during his mobility at the UPCT (the UPCT will be exempt from any responsibility in those cases).

In order to help your students with the Erasmus application process  at our institution,  we are sending you some useful information  which will help  them with the process . We would appreciate if you could disseminate this information among your students, in order to  avoid emails with questions which are already answered in this document, as it will take us time to answer all the  doubts.

Also, an online tutorial for Erasmus application procedure  will be held after the nomination period,  and BEFORE they fill in their LEARNING AGREEMENT in order to help them with the steps to follow. They will be sent an invitation to this tutorial later.

APPLICATION

As soon as your nomination is accepted, your nominated student(s) will receive an email informing them about the application process. The deadline for submission of their application and required documents (personal data and admission documents, Digital Learning Agreement, etc.) is 15 May.

All nominated students will receive a link to submit their online applications via Mobility Online platform by a separate e-mail.

Students are required to submit their application strictly by the given deadlines; otherwise, their mobility can be cancelled.

ACCOMMODATION

Our University can accommodate up to 170 exchange students per semester, which is ~60% of the full exchange student body. Therefore, dormitory reservations are approved on a first-applied, first-served basis. We will inform students about dormitory registration by a separate e-mail.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR:

Autumn semester

Orientation Days: 2025-08-28 – 2025-09-01;

Lectures: 2025-09-02 – 2025-12-21;

Examination Session: 2026-01-02 – 2026-01-25;

Retake period (if applicable): 2026-01-26 – 2026-02-01.

Students should provisionally plan their arrival before the Orientation Days start.

Approx. one month before the studies start, all accepted students will receive an Arrival Guide with more information on arrival regulations (if any), Orientation Days and other requirements to successfully start their mobility.

We are excited to announce Blended Intensive Program (BIP) “Research Project Planning & Proposal Writing” and invite you to participate in the BIP organised at Istanbul Gelisim University during the Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year!

The program aims to prepare students for planning and writing research project proposals effectively.

Program Details:

  • Virtual Component Phase: March 17th – April 21st, 2025 (6 weeks)
  • Physical Component: April 28th– May 2nd 2025 (5 days in Istanbul at Istanbul Gelisim University)
  • Target Participants: 2nd, 3rd, 4th-year Undergraduate Students, Master’s Degree Students (5 Each)
  • Activities: Online lectures and group work during the virtual phase. Hands-on workshops and presentations during the physical phase in Istanbul.

Due to the ongoing global situation, please note that we will be flexible in terms of deadlines.

Please note that the sending institution, following the Erasmus+ Inter-institutional agreement with the receiving institution, is responsible for providing support to its nominated candidates so that they can have the recommended language skills at the start of the study period. The University of Zadar requires that the student has very good language skills (in reading, writing and speaking) equivalent to level B2 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) scale. No particular concessions will be given to students whose level of English is lower than the expected levels mentioned below.

 

  • All nominated students will receive an e-mail with information on our Admission procedure within ten working days from the nomination.

APPLICATION
Student application deadline – 15 May.

Students are required to submit our online application strictly by the given deadlines; otherwise, they will miss their chance to apply for a place in the University dormitory.

Please note that at the moment our student mobility management is under transition from the institutional platform to Mobility-Online, therefore, student Learning Agreements completed via Online Learning Agreement (OLA) or other providers sometimes might not reach us. ACCOMMODATION
Our University can accommodate up to 170 exchange students per semester, which is ~60% of the full exchange student body. Therefore, dormitory reservations are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. The reservation system is open on June 5 – 16, we‘ll inform students about the procedure by a separate e-mail.

 

ACADEMIC CALENDAR:

Autumn semester

Orientation Days: 2023-08-28- 2023-08-31;

Lectures: 2023-09-04- 2023-12-17;

Examination Session: 2024-01-02- 2024-01-28.

Retake period (if applicable): 2024-01-29– 2024-02-04.

Students should provisionally plan their arrival before the Orientation Days start.

Approx. one month before the studies start, all accepted students will receive an Arrival Guide with more information on arrival regulations (if any), Orientation Days and other requirements to successfully start their mobility.

The nomination for winter semester and whole academic year 2022/2023 is available from01/03/2023 – 01/05/2023 via the following online form: Nomination Winter semester 2023/2024

Please note that the sending institution, following the Erasmus+ Inter-institutional agreement with the receiving institution, is responsible for providing support to its nominated candidates so that they can have the recommended language skills at the start of the study period. The University of Zadar requires that the student has very good language skills (in reading, writing and speaking) equivalent to level B2 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) scale. No particular concessions will be given to students whose level of English is lower than the expected levels mentioned below.

All nominated students will receive an e-mail with information on our Admission procedure within ten working days from the nomination. The list of courses offered to incoming students will be available soon here. The academic calendar and the info sheet can be found here. Upon successful application, students will receive an Acceptance Letter and signed the Online Learning Agreement along with further information on application for accommodation, course registration and arrival.
