Our fall/winter semester 2024/25 will start on 1 October 2024.

Prior to the semester start, we will offer a voluntary two-week German online intensive course for students who do not have any knowledge of the German language yet.
Our Orientation Weeks for exchange students in the fall/winter semester 2024/25 will start on 19 September 2024.
Your students will receive more detailed information after having completed the application process.
Furthermore, we are glad to announce that DIT will offer a new Enlish-taught exchange programme in the field of healthcare sciences – „General Health” – as of the winter semester 2024/25. Please find more detailed information on the programme here.

Course catalogue for the academic year 2024/2025 will be available here till the 15 March at the latest.
All nominated students will receive an e-mail with information on our Admission procedure within 15 working days from the nomination. The deadline for submission of the application is 15 May for the winter semester (OLA signed by all sides), and 15 November for the summer / spring semester (OLA signed by all sides).
Applications may take up to four weeks to be processed. Only when the Learning Agreement has been approved by the UNIZD departmental coordinator, students will receive an official letter of acceptance. Students, whose applications we receive after the official application deadline, will not be eligible for student housing.

APPLICATION
Student application deadline – 15 May.
Students are required to submit our online application strictly by the given deadlines; otherwise, they will miss their chance to apply for a place in the University dormitory.
Please note that at the moment our student mobility management is under transition from the institutional platform to Mobility-Online, therefore, student Learning Agreements completed via Online Learning Agreement (OLA) or other providers sometimes might not reach us. If that’s the case, please inform us and we’ll try to find a solution.

ACCOMMODATION
Our University can accommodate up to 170 exchange students per semester, which is ~60% of the full exchange student body. Therefore, dormitory reservations are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. The reservation system is open on June 5 – 16, we‘ll inform students about the procedure by a separate e-mail.

Please note that the sending institution, following the Erasmus+ Inter-institutional agreement with the receiving institution, is responsible for providing support to its nominated candidates so that they can have the recommended language skills at the start of the study period. The University of Zadar requires that the student has very good language skills (in reading, writing and speaking) equivalent to level B2 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) scale. No particular concessions will be given to students whose level of English is lower than the expected levels mentioned below.
All nominated students will receive an e-mail with information on our Admission procedure within ten working days from the nomination. Upon successful application, students will receive an Acceptance Letter and signed the Online Learning Agreement along with further information on application for accommodation, course registration and arrival.
