Co-create an interdisciplinary master’s course on energy communities, pilot it in a summer school, and produce localized playbooks for North Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Greece and Poland.

Accelerate citizen-driven renewable energy adoption through education and practical guides

Work Packages (What We Do)

WP1: Project Management

Ensures smooth coordination, progress reporting, and financial transparency throughout the 24-month duration.

WP2: Curriculum Creation

Development of a 12-week interdisciplinary master’s course integrating the policy, technology, environment, society, and economics of energy communities.

WP3: Testing & International Summer School

A 5-day intensive summer school hosted in North Macedonia. Twelve selected students (3 per partner university) will test the curriculum through lectures, workshops, and real-world case studies on energy-community projects

WP4: Localized Playbooks on Energy Communities

This package, led by Kielce University of Technology (KUT), focuses on creating four country-specific practical guides.

  • Step-by-Step Advice: Guides for municipalities, citizens, and SMEs to establish energy communities.
  • Student Mobility in Poland: KUT will host a 5-day student mobility event where master’s students will actively participate in drafting these playbooks.
  • Language versions: Manuals will be published in Polish, Macedonian, Greek, and Bosnian.
