Work Packages (What We Do)

WP1: Project Management

Ensures smooth coordination, progress reporting, and financial transparency throughout the 24-month duration.

WP2: Curriculum Creation

Development of a 12-week interdisciplinary master’s course integrating the policy, technology, environment, society, and economics of energy communities.

WP3: Testing & International Summer School

A 5-day intensive summer school hosted in North Macedonia. Twelve selected students (3 per partner university) will test the curriculum through lectures, workshops, and real-world case studies on energy-community projects.

WP4: Localized Playbooks on Energy Communities

This package, led by Kielce University of Technology (KUT), focuses on creating four country-specific practical guides.

  • Step-by-Step Advice: Guides for municipalities, citizens, and SMEs to establish energy communities.
  • Student Mobility in Poland: KUT will host a 5-day student mobility event where master’s students will actively participate in drafting these playbooks.
  • Language versions: Manuals will be published in Polish, Macedonian, Greek, and Bosnian.

Open Access and Impact

All project results, including the Master’s curriculum and the Localized Playbooks, will be available under an Open Access model. Our target is to reach over 100 local stakeholders directly and facilitate more than 500 digital downloads of the playbooks to ensure a long-lasting impact on the regional energy transition.
