VSB – Technical University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic is a university that has been cooperating with the Kielce University of Technology for years in the field of research and academic exchange also under the Erasmus+, thanks to which both lecturers and students have the opportunity to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by this program.
This university is very often chosen for mobility under the Erasmus+ program by students of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering and usually the experiences gained there encourage them to study abroad once again under this program.
In recent days, two coordinators of the Erasmus+ program, Dr. Damian Gogolewski and Dr. Tomasz Kozior participated in Erasmus+ Week organized by VSB – Technical University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. During numerous seminars and meetings, they had the opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices with representatives from many European technical universities on topics related to the exchange of students and academic staff.
One of the main problems discussed was also the way classes have been conducted, especially for the students participating in Erasmus+ internships during the COVID-19 pandemic times. We hope that the acquired knowledge will contribute to the promotion of the Erasmus+ program at our University and the valuable experience will result in better quality of classes and further development of international cooperation.
