Erasmus + is a European Union programme supporting educational exchange
As part of the programme, you can study abroad, take part in foreign job mobility or implement international educational projects.
Erasmus + the European Union program in the field of education, training, youth and sport – is a continuation of European educational programs implemented in 1998. Its aim is to support pupils, students, teachers, lecturers, academic staff and volunteers in carrying out international projects aimed at raising competences.
The programme’s European budget for 2021-2027 is EUR 26.2 billion. With the new financial perspective, Erasmus + has been broadened to become more innovative and inclusive as well as more digital. It will also be of key importance for the creation of the European Education Area planned by 2025, thanks to which the European Union intends to ensure all young people to have access to education and training of the highest quality, enable learners to move easily between education systems in different countries and give them the opportunity to find work across Europe.
The National Agency of the Erasmus + Program in Poland is the Foundation for the Development of the Education System.

Universities, their students and employees, as well as other organizations cooperating with universities, may participate in the Higher education sector. Universities can exchange students and staff and coordinate international projects or take part in them as partners.
The condition for the participation of universities in the program is the possession of an Erasmus Charter for higher education.
On 27 February 2021 the European Commission awarded the Kielce University of Technology the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-2027 – ECHE. Thus, the University obtained the right to apply for Erasmus + funds in the years 2021-2027 in the sectors of education, training, youth and sport.
As part of the ECHE obligation the University publishes the Erasmus + Policy Statement.
Kielce University of Technology within the Higher Education sector, participates in Action 1. Educational mobility of university students and employees.
This action supports the physical and mixed mobility of university students in all fields of study and study cycles (first, second and third cycle studies and long-cycle studies). Students may study abroad at a partner university or do an internship / apprenticeship in a company, research institute, laboratory, organization or other institution offering apprenticeship / apprenticeship. Students can combine a period of study abroad with an internship / internship.
University teaching and administrative staff may participate in activities carried out abroad related to their professional development. These may be mobilities to conduct classes with students of a foreign university or mobilities to participate in training. The aim of the training must aim to improve the competences of the employee appropriate to his scope of duties at the sending institution. Polish universities may invite specialists from enterprises to conduct classes with their students. Intensive programs conducted in the so-called mixed formula (combining virtual part and physical mobility) are also supported within the Higher education sector. Their aim is to enable universities to offer their students interactive classes carried out in an international group.
